I can't believe I haven't posted anything in 2 months now! Shame on me! Well Happy 4th of July to everyone :) I hope we get to see some fireworks tonight. We're going to the home of some friends from Sunday School for a cookout this afternoon.

Tyler is doing great. He has learned lots of words in the last month. This is his vocabulary right now:

Mama, Mom-Mom, Pa-Pa, Papa, Be-ba (Bella), Emma, Juice, Plate, Bowl, No, Book, Night-Night, Bye-Bye, Hey, Hello, Moon, Boom-Boom (as in Boom, Boom, POW) lol, "ga-ge-tha" as in "Gotta get that". I'm sure there is more but my head hurts, lol.

Uncle Frank just had FIVE bypasses on his heart!!! Thank God he is doing well now!

Paul is loving his new career although he's not getting the clients he would like. It's a lesson in patience.

As for me, I'm just enjoying being a Stay-at-home-Mom. Tyler and me are addicted to each other! He loves to goof off and have a good time with Daddy, but when he's hurt, sad or sleepy...it's all Mommy! And I just love that. He really is the best child I could have ever asked for!

I have to run for now. I plan on keeping this updated more often from now on. If I find some time this week I'd like to update the blog and make it look all pretty, hehe. Have a safe weekend everyone!

Sorry it's been so long since I've updated! Things have been crazy around here.

PAUL IS HOME! He came back to NC on April 26. He & Tyler are getting along great. He's only called him "Da-da" once, instead he keeps calling him "Ma-ma", aww.

We moved into our new home and finally have it unpacked. Not quite organized completely but we're getting there. It's perfect for us. There's even enough room for one more baby eventually, lol.

Today is Paul's first day at Prudential Realty off of Six Forks Road in Raleigh. He's very excited about that. He is going to do great, I just know it.

That's our little update for now. I'm going to try to keep this thing updated better, I promise. I'll even post more pictures!

He is ONE!

Hey guys!

Things have been so crazy around here that I haven't had much time to update this thing. First my computer crashed, then came house-hunting, which seemed to take forever! Paul will finally be back to the States next week! I'll be so happy to see him! We are in the process of buying our first home! It's in Knightdale and we really love it! It's much smaller than we were hoping for, but I'm in love with it! It's perfect for our little family and even an addition in another year or two :0) We are set to close March 27 if everything goes smoothly. Tyler turned one on Valentine's Day. We had some friends and family over to help us celebrate but of course Tyler was sick on his birthday. I don't think I got a single picture of him smiling! At the moment he has a double ear infection but seems pretty happy. He slept almost the entire day today. Anyway! Here are a couple pictures we had made for his 1st birthday! Enjoy!

Hey yall!

Today Paul and I celebrate THREE YEARS of marriage! And I have to say, it's been an amazing three years! I always knew he'd be a wonderful husband, but wow...God made an AMAZING husband and father out of Paul. Our family is truely blessed.

This morning at church Tyler got to play the role of Isaac, Sarah's son. He went to the different Sunday School classrooms, where the little kids were told that he was Issac, who Sarah had just given birth to minutes earlier...well, he does grow fast!

Paul sent me a HUGE blanket, with our family picture on it! I'll try to post a picture of that tomorrow, it's beautiful. Man I love my hubby!

I start back at the gym tomorrow. Please be praying for me because I'd like to lose 30 lbs by Feburary! That's a lot to lose in 2 1/2 months! I have a wedding to be in, plus I'd like to lose it by the time I see Paul if nothing else ya know. From what I hear, he's been beefing up at the gym himself, I just wanna "beef-down" lololol. sigh.

I have a surprise that I'm working on for Paul, so I can't tell it yet, but soon! It's something for him for our third wedding anniversary coming up at the end of the month. He says I have a package coming and to wait till Nov. 23 to open it, yea, I'll try!

Anyway! Tyler just said, "ball" as he was crawling over to his bouncy ball. He's so smart. I think he's hitting another growth spurt because it seems like all he does is sleep all day. He's also getting over a cold thingy too, so that might be it.

I can't believe Tyler will be ONE in three months!!! My baby is getting so big...I'm very proud of him. I need some ideas, what kind of first birthday party can you through in the middle of winter? Something indoors that's also fun for adults. I guess we'll see. Tyler cut another tooth the other day, his bottom tooth to the right of the front two. I wonder if he'll ever get his two front teeth!?

Tyler and I had a busy day today, but it was good for both of us. We went out to visit Grammy and Aunt Debbie at work, then we stopped at dunkin donuts for a donut and a coffee. When Grammy came home we went to Smithfield's for dinner and we just got back from a walk around the neighborhood. Tyler's rubbing his eyes but it's only 630 so I hope he's not thinking of bed time!

He sure is funny. Today I was doing something with my back turned to Tyler, and I hear him say, "Heeeeeey Da-da" and I turn around to see because he's never said "hey" before, and he was holding a picture of Paul! Then he tried to eat it, but it was still adorable!

I've set a goal, maybe you can help me! I want to come up with a list of TEN FREE THINGS TO DO in my area, something to help keep me and Tyler OUT of WalMart/Target/the mall so we can reach our savings goal. Any ideas? Here's my list so far...Park.

I know I said I would have some up tonight, but I didn't realize the uploading process would take so long. They might have to upload through the night! That's what happens when you get two Mommies together with their babies and two cameras!

I'll have even more after this busy weekend though!

Well Paul has officially left for Guam, he left at 3 pm today. He should be getting to Guam around 8 am tomorrow. I miss him so much. But I have to keep reminding myself that once he's home, it'll be for good! After 4 years of him being gone, he'll be HOME! I know he's really looking forward to that too.

Hey everyone. I take so many pictures of Tyler that I've decided to start packaging them up and putting them on here for everyone who wants them to grab them. It's just easier than having to save them one by one. All you will need to get them is a program that will unzip them for you like Tug Zip. Once you download them, just right click and unzip, easy!

I'll put some pics up later tonight. Laura and I will be taking the babies to the park in a few minutes so there should be some cute ones!

My baby is so smart! He's pretty advanced for his age. It makes me happy but sad at the same time. I can't wait for him to be 2-3 years old, hopefully he'll be my little tag-along, we'll see. He'll probably end up being his daddy's lil tag-along though, lol. That's okay though. I pray he turns into a great man just like his Daddy one day.

I love how he crawls up to me, pulls himself up on my leg and says, "Ma-ma-ma-ma" over and over until I pick him up. He's the most adorable baby I've ever seen, I can't get enough of him!

We're taking a trip to the mall today for some exercise (of the wallet)...no I'm kidding. Maybe. We'll see. Friday is a girl's night out with Laura, Sarah and Melissa! I need a girl's night out bad. Well I better get going. Got lots to do before we leave!

...for getting us to this point! Tyler has officially slept from 8 pm till 6 am without waking up once! I thought this night would never come! It only took 2 nights of letting him cry to get him to this point. I just wanted to say how proud I am of my little boy. Also, he learned to wave this week. I sure do love my little jellybean!

Just wanted to update! Tyler cut his third tooth AND he's learned how to wave! It's precious...I love watching him wave to everyone. He got promoted to the crawlers room at church! It's just Tyler and two little girls in it! He better behave himself!!

I have some cute pictures to post later tonight hopefully! I found a great community of Christian mommies today and I'm really excited to get to know them!

I haven't blogged here in a while so I thought I should give an update. Paul leaves for Guam next week. Tyler and I miss him so much! It's really going to be a long six or seven months without him. But we just have to remember that once he's back, it will be for good, and our family will never have to be apart again! (I love you Doodle)

Last night on the way to class, I got rear-ended on Hillsboro St. by the nicest guy, lol. I felt bad for him because I'm one of those people who believe nice people shouldn't have bad things happen to them, lol. Anyway, it took about an hour for the police to show up and we just sat there talking and by the time the cop got there, I was wishing I'd never called them. We decided to just exchange insurance information and deal with it later. It's not that much damage to my car, but his poor truck, lol. Did I mention he was Australian? Pretty cool.

I'm meeting some other Mommies from TriangleMommies.com at Pullen Park once a week starting next week. I want Tyler to have some friends his age and a couple of the moms have babies his age. Plus we have so much fun at the Park together.

Tyler has learned how to stand up by himself for about 10 seconds at a time. He's so brave. He doesn't like to use his hands anymore. I get the feeling he's going to be a stunt man when he grows up. That little boy is my very best friend. I don't know how I made it 26 years without him.

Well I better get going! It's raining out today but I wanna take Tyler somewhere, even if it's just to the mall.

Tyler and I finally made it back to NC. We only got "lost" once, and that was in MN trying to find the Mall of America! Tyler, Todd and I had dinner Friday night at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. at the MOA! Todd got a Bubba Gump Shrimp hat, lol. Anyway, just wanted to check in so no one thought we were still driving!

Friday is the big day!

So we're just a couple days from leaving. Todd will be here around midnight. Yesterday morning, Tyler woke up, stood up in his crib and said, "da-da"! Of course Paul was already in the shower by then so he missed it. I hope he'll say it again before we leave so Paul can hear it. Well just wanted to pop in and catch up before things get hectic again! Say a prayer for our trip, we leave early Friday morning!

One week till we're home!! One week till we leave Paul, boo! Tyler is busy cleaning his motorcycle wheel with his sock, what a funny guy. We had family portraits made yesterday! Tyler was a pro of course, he smiled for every picture except for one. Paul is naturally photogenic. But everyone knows me! I ruined each picture, lol. Oh well. I'll post them on here when they get to us. It will be mid-Sept by then though. Have a great day everyone!

This morning around 4 am, I heard a little squeek but didn't think much of it, then I heard it again only louder so I opened my eyes and there stood tiny little Tyler in his crib, completely pulled up, smiling ear to ear so excited to see his mommy waking up. He is SO adorable. I'm the luckiest Mama in the world.

So I'm sure some of you don't even know that I've been really involved in digital scrapbooking lately. It's just like paper scrapping, but all your papers, embellishments, and pictures are all on the computer. It's nice because you never have to throw anything away, and anything you buy (or make) can be used over and over and over again! And in the end there's no mess to clean up! Anyway, it started with me being the buyer, and boy did I buy! I have about 300 kits already, half were freebies and the other half I've paid for. Over the past couple of months I've been designing my own scrap kits and beginning next Monday I'll be selling them in a scrap store online. You can see some of what I'm selling over at my scrap blog. And if you're interested in learning how to digi-scrap let me know! I'd be happy to teach you in person if you live back home, or on online if you don't! Wish me luck!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to update real fast while I have a minute. Paul and his friends are on their way now to the storage unit here in Minot to put half of our belongings there. The rest will probably stay here until Todd gets here. In case you didn't know, he's flying in on September 3 and then him, me and Tyler are driving back to NC.

Tyler is doing great. He cut his second tooth this morning! Now he's got two pearly whites that shine through when he grins, it's so adorable. I know he's proud of them too because he smiles a lot now. Like, "Hey, look at these!" He's having a blast with his Daddy. He has no idea that Paul's leaving us soon. We went out to dinner last night and there was a one year little girl, we both couldn't believe that's how big Tyler will be when Paul gets home from Guam.

Tyler can crawl, sit up alone, feed himself, and pull himself up on everything. He gets all excited when he pulls himself up, I know it makes him feel like a big boy. I guess he is becoming a big boy :( If I had my way he'd stay this sweet an innocent forever.

After we leave, Paul will have two weeks left here in Minot before they head out. Then he'll be gone until late Feb 2009. Since his enlistment is up that summer, he's not going to come home to NC until then. He'll actually be moving back to NC in April 2009...because he's saved up over 60 days of leave, they have to let him out early with pay!

Well, that's about all that going on this way! Oh, for those of you who were waiting for find out if I am pregnant again or not...

I was almost a whole month late. What a scare!

Hey everyone! We are leaving for NC around 3 a.m. tomorrow. We'll be there until August 13. But guess what, as it turns out we are moving home earlier than we thought. So two weeks after we get back to ND, we're driving back to NC again! LOL.

We're not looking forward to Daddy leaving.
